Engineer (Technical support)

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Reporting Schedule: Weekly

Job Description:

The Engineer (Technical support) is responsible for engineering, execution and delivery of assigned projects. He is also responsible to perform site activities as required for site surveys, installation, commissioning and for maintenance purposes. This includes customer satisfaction in the areas of project execution, maintenance and deliverables.

Essential Functions:

1. Technical assistance in preparation of BOM, proposal documents, such as TQs, Block schematics etc.

2. Should assist in site survey as required. Post Award- Project Design, drawings, calculations

3. Perform system staging, pre-FAT, proto-type testing, FAT and SAT.

4. Assisting in panel assembly, testing and staging FAT. Prepare FAT, assist in inspection and reports. Prepare As built drawings.

5. Prepare Functional Design specifications, loop drawings, cabinet layouts, IO allocation tables and other project deliverables.

6. Participate in customer design review meetings, kickoff meetings and other status review meetings. Seek approvals for documents during design review meetings from clients/ EPCs.

7. Vendor management and development and price negotiations.

8. Monitor project status sheet so as to update to Project coordinator on the status of the project.

9. To impart training on products as required.
