Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Associate with a client-centric approach to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers who are eager to start their careers in finance and compliance. As a Compliance Associate, you will assist in managing statutory filings, compliance with the Companies Act, income tax, TDS provisions, GST, and financial statements preparation. This role requires a basic understanding of relevant laws and regulations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a focus on delivering accurate financial information.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist in serving as the main point of contact for clients regarding statutory filings, compliance, and financial statement preparation.
2. Help ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and other government agencies.
3. Monitor and stay updated on changes in the Companies Act, income tax, TDS provisions, GST, and other relevant laws and regulations.
4. Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
5. Support the preparation and filing of income tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
6. Monitor and assist in managing TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any legal or compliance issues related to statutory filings and financial statements.
8. Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including timely filing of returns, reconciliation, and addressing any GST-related queries.
9. Provide accurate and reliable financial information to clients, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
10. Maintain proper documentation and records related to statutory filings, compliance, and financial statements.
11. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall efficiency of finance operations.

Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience in finance operations, statutory filings, and financial statements preparation.
3. Basic knowledge of the Companies Act, income tax provisions, TDS regulations, GST laws, and financial reporting standards.
4. Familiarity with accounting software and tools, including Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is a plus.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial statements and compliance filings.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
7. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to address basic financial and compliance issues.
10. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and delivering exceptional service.
