Saarthee - Senior Automation Testing Engineer - Java/Selenium (5-9 yrs)

Position Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in the commerce and payments domain. In this role, you will work in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate is experienced in test-driven development (TDD), automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Job Responsibilities :

- Work in an Agile Scrum environment to support quality engineering activities in commerce and payments.

- Collaborate with architects and developers to create test plans for new functionality.

- Develop and implement best practices for Test-Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing.

- Establish and influence quality engineering best practices across the development community.

- Partner with Product Management, Architects, Engineering, Hosting, and Operations teams to drive quality initiatives.

- Engage with globally distributed teams to provide continuous delivery of high-quality software that enhances the customer experience.

Key Skills Requirement :

- Bachelors or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience having 5-9 years' experience in testing.

- Extensive hands-on technical expertise, including experience with Java.

- Key Skills to be evaluated for the role are : Java, Selenium, API Testing, Manual Testing

- Experience with all aspects of software test, including test planning, test automation, failure mode test, etc.

- Experience testing RESTful web services and web applications using POSTMAN

- Experience with build automation and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).

- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, etc)

- Ability to estimate effort and size of features

- Experience with agile development methodologies and test-driven development processes

- Experience using source control (esp. Git) and bug tracking systems in a team environment
