Position Summary:
- The Talent Acquisition Lead will be responsible for driving the end-to-end recruitment process for Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Cloud-focused roles, with a special emphasis on Java and Cloud hiring.
- This role requires a strategic and hands-on recruiter who can identify, engage, and hire top-tier technical talent in the Data & Analytics domain.
- As a key partner to engineering and leadership teams, the Talent Acquisition Lead will develop sourcing strategies, manage employer branding initiatives, and optimize hiring workflows to attract highly skilled professionals.
- This is a high-impact role, requiring a blend of technical expertise, stakeholder management, and recruitment innovation, to build and scale a world-class Data & Analytics team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own & Lead Recruitment: Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Software Engineers, and Data Architects.
- Technical Hiring Expertise: Use knowledge of Java, Python, Scala, Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), ETL, Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark to assess candidates.
- Cloud & Java Hiring Focus: Build specialized talent pipelines for Java-based and Cloud-focused roles.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Management: Partner with CTO, Engineering Leads, and Data Science teams to understand the specific technical requirements of each role.
- Translate these needs into effective job descriptions, recruitment strategies, and candidate evaluation criteria.
- Sourcing & Employer Branding: Develop and execute sourcing strategies through LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, hackathons, and industry events.
- Process Optimization: Improve recruitment workflows, implement AI-driven ATS tools, and drive a data-driven approach to hiring.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Build hiring strategies that promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of trends in technical hiring, compensation benchmarking, and talent analytics.
- Talent Development & Retention: Work with technical leadership to create clear career pathways for data and engineering professionals within the company.
- Support ongoing training and development initiatives to keep teams updated with the latest technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:.
- 6+ years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably in Data Analytics, AI, or Cloud-focused roles in high-growth or technically complex environments.
- Experience in hiring for high-volume tech roles in data engineering, machine learning, and cloud architecture.
