Sr. Executive - IT

Role & responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Windows Server (2012R2+), including Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, DNS, DHCP, and RDS
• Manage FSMO role transfers and administer Microsoft SQL Server 2008
• Install and configure network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshoot both on-site and remote technical issues
• Develop Windows patch management strategies and monitor Windows Event Viewer logs
• Oversee Office 365 administration, health monitoring, and proactive incident alerts
• Monitor and secure networks using tools like Wireshark, Netmon, or tcpdump; manage firewall systems (e.g., Cisco, Sophos)
• Knowledge of Azure AD Connect and Microsoft Intune is advantageous
• Troubleshoot SSL and DNS issues; utilize a ticketing system to track and complete tasks as scheduled
• Negotiate with vendors and manage IT infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and objectives
• Keep systems updated with the latest technology, protocols, and best practices for security
• Supervise systems and server administration to ensure reliable network availability
• Perform daily system checks, addressing security and performance issues immediately
• Oversee infrastructure security, including firewalls, databases, and malware protection, ensuring GDPR compliance
• Manage projects to meet service objectives and support LMS maintenance and course creation
• Participate in organizational activities, including event support and technology setup

Preferred candidate profile

• 4+ years proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and VPNs.
• Advanced understanding of network and system security, including firewall management, access controls, and data protection.
• Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues with remote and on-site support tools (e.g., AnyDesk).
• Familiarity with GDPR compliance and IT asset management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to IT service delivery.
