JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversee client relationships, providing personalized financial advice and wealth management services.
- Enhance client portfolios, ensure strategic alignment with financial goals, and coach junior team members to foster development and improve team performance.
Job Title: Relationship Manager
Location: Chennai / Hyderabad / Coimbatore / Trichy / Madurai / Salem
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the management and growth of portfolio of clients by providing end-to-end wealth management services, including financial planning, investment advisory, and portfolio management.
- Provide comprehensive advice on various wealth management products, including AIFs, PMS, equity, debt, insurance, and alternative investments.
- Conduct regular client reviews, performance updates, and risk assessments to align portfolios with financial goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through an extensive client network, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Mentor and guide junior level wealth RMs by providing hands-on support, fostering their professional development, and ensuring seamless knowledge transfer.
- Develop and execute client strategies to maximize wallet share, ensure client satisfaction, and achieve business growth.
- Leverage the group's existing customer base e.g., CV/PV dealers & fleet owners develop investment solutions within this captive base to deepen client relations & expand AUM.
Qualifications & Education:
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields (e.g., MBA).
- Relevant certifications (NISM, AMFI, CFP) are highly preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- 2 to 9 years of experience in wealth management or private banking with experience of serving UHNI / HNI clients.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage high-value portfolios.
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High integrity, ethical standards, and a collaborative approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for client servicing and business growth.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Drive AUM growth and maximize revenue from client portfolios.
- Maintain strong client retention, solid satisfaction scores, and foster client referrals.
- Formulate and implement business development plans to grow the client base and AUM & set client acquisition targets aligned with the group strategy.
- Act as the primary relationship holder, addressing clients' holistic financial management needs-including investments, lending, and insurance-by leveraging subject matter experts from the group.
- Lead team performance, mentor junior colleagues, and actively align with organizational objectives.
