Company Overview:
Our client is a leading manufacturing company, currently seeking a talented and experienced Management Consultant to join our CFO's office and provide strategic guidance on financial matters.
Job Summary:
The Management Consultant will play a key role in advising the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and senior management team on a wide range of financial and strategic initiatives. This position requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, manufacturing processes and business operations to drive improvements and optimize performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Performance Management:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Analyze key performance metrics and financial trends to assess the financial health of the company and provide actionable insights to management.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning efforts.
Strategic Planning and Business Development:
- Collaborate with the CFO and senior management to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive growth and profitability.
- Assess market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, conducting due diligence and financial analysis to support investment decisions.
Process Improvement and Operational Excellence:
- Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in manufacturing processes and supply chain operations, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, optimize resource allocation, and improve overall operational performance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices and industry benchmarks to drive operational excellence throughout the organization.
Change Management and Organizational Transformation:
- Partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive change and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to management teams during periods of organizational change, helping to navigate challenges and overcome resistance to change.
- Lead training and development initiatives to build capabilities and enhance the skills of finance and operations teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, finance, or operations roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and information into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, and business development.
- Proven track record of driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
