Golang Developer - Backend Technologies (3-9 yrs)

About the Role

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Golang Developer at SA Technologies. The Senior Golang Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable applications using Golang.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Go applications.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, designers, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Implement and maintain robust unit and integration tests.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends in Golang and related technologies.

- Troubleshoot and debug application issues effectively.

- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications :

- 3-8 years of professional software development experience.

- Strong proficiency in Golang programming language.

- Experience with database management systems, particularly MongoDB.

- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Concourse.

- Proven experience building scalable, fault-tolerant web services and APIs.

- Strong knowledge of and demonstrated experience with writing high-quality, testable, and

maintainable code.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices.
