Job Description
- Oversee daily operations within the credit department, including credit analysis, risk assessment, and loan processing.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure effective management of credit risk and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of credit professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on credit performance, risk exposure, and operational metrics to senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of credit applications and loan disbursements.
- Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and improve overall service delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt credit policies and practices accordingly.
- Manage relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues related to credit services.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and optimize credit processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :-
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related field.
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive managerial experience in a credit institution or financial services environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using financial software and credit management systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of credit risk management, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with clients and senior management.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
