Finance Executive

Responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the general ledger and ensure that all accounting entries are correctly posted and reconciled. Review and approve journal entries.
• Month-End and Year-End Closing: Lead the month-end and year-end closing process (provision & prepaid entry knowledge), ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and deadlines are met.
• Accounts Reconciliation: Oversee the reconciliation of accounts, including bank, vendor, and intercompany accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., GST, tds), and ensure adherence to tax regulations and deadlines.
• Bank handling experience and reconciling Bank Balances.
• Inter company reconciliation
• Vendor reconciliation
• Internal Controls and Compliance: Ensure that internal controls are in place and maintained, and ensure that accounting practices comply with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Team Supervision: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, provide training, and assist with their professional development. Review their work for accuracy and completeness.

Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring all audit findings are addressed and resolved.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting,
• 4+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP,) and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound financial decisions.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a team.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting processes.
