Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QuickBooks Specialist to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's financial records using QuickBooks. This includes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide training and support to staff on QuickBooks and financial procedures
- Troubleshoot QuickBooks issues and resolve technical problems
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience using QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- QuickBooks certification (e.g. QuickBooks Certified User) is an asset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience with other accounting software and systems
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
