Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Sales & Investor Relations - India
RV Capital, a leading Singapore-based hedge fund specializing in Asia Macro and Credit is seeking an experienced Asst Vice President/Vice President of Sales and Investor Relations for their India Alternative Asset Management business.
This role is a rare opportunity to be involved with the firm's India growth strategy through its ongoing alternative investment fund/credit AIF, as well as other funds/portfolio management strategies going forward, as part of its long-term vision for India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy involving systematic outreach and follow-up to attract and onboard investors in order to achieve fund raising objectives of India strategy, encompassing Credit AIF as well as other funds, managed accounts and other investment management strategies of RV Capital group going forward
- Take charge of and drive the entire sales process for India, targeting HNIs, family offices and institutional investors, and leveraging your existing network.
- Networking with, cold calling, meeting and building/leveraging trust-based relationships with relationships with investors, potential investors and private banks/wealth managers/financial advisors.
- Implement and maintain a CRM system for effective client management and data dissemination.
- Collaborate with investor relations to ensure seamless transition and ongoing relationship management.
- Engage with wealth platforms and distributors to expand the fund's investor base.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in a hunter sales role, preferably from the alternative asset, mutual fund or wealth management industry.
- Ability to build and manage investor relationships from scratch, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and wealth managers.
- Existing relationships with family offices and institutional investors and prior experience of fund raising is preferred
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to follow a structured sales process.
- Knowledge of the Indian financial market and an understanding of asset management products/credit AIF's is a plus.
- Experience in using technology tools like Salesforce /Backstop etc for client management and documentation.
- Most crucial requirement is a "marketing DNA" with highly developed relationship management and networking skills.
- MBA/PG Diploma from reputed institute
- Compensation: Competitive with significant potential upside through commission and performance-based incentives. Base salary may be lower, reflecting the high-reward nature of this role.
