Resident Medical Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure that patients receive appropriate and timely medical treatment
• Supervise and review patient diagnosis, treatment, and overall care plans
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high medical standards
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols, regulations, and ethical standards
• Investigate and address patient complaints and incidents related to medical care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, administrators, and departments to improve patient care processes
• Participate in meetings, committees, and initiatives related to healthcare quality and improvement
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care
• Develop and implement emergency response protocols within the region/ward
• Coordinate medical teams and resources during emergencies
