Technician- Electrical Maintenance

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Technician responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various electrical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with high and low-voltage systems, motor controls, variable frequency drives, and conveyor systems.

1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

   • Perform maintenance and troubleshoot the following electrical equipment:
     • HT & LT breakers.
     • Intelligent Motor Control Centers (IMCC).
     • HT & LT motors.
     • UPS systems and BCH equipment.
     • Battery banks.
   • Diagnose and rectify faults in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

   • Conduct routine preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
   • Perform predictive maintenance using diagnostic tools to identify potential equipment failures.
   • Respond to and resolve breakdown maintenance issues promptly.

3. Conveyor Systems

   • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair yard conveyors and associated machinery.
   • Inspect, test, and service control and safety switches to ensure system safety and functionality.

4. Safety Compliance

   • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
   • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, including safety checks and repairs.

5. Continuous Improvement

   • Collaborate with the team to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
   • Stay updated with the latest industry standards, practices, and technologies.

• Educational Qualification: Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in handling HT & LT systems and electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of VFD configuration, operation, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of conveyor system control and safety mechanisms.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
