Role Overview:
The CEO Designate will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision of our research and upskilling cell, a premium initiative dedicated to advanced AEC skilling. The role requires an entrepreneurial leader with expertise in EdTech, AEC industry trends, and business management. The CEO will drive growth, develop industry partnerships, ensure financial sustainability, and position the cell as a leading provider of cutting-edge AEC talent development solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to establish the cell as a premier research and upskilling hub in AEC.
- Identify and drive revenue streams, including premium training modules, corporate partnerships, and industry collaborations.
- Ensure financial sustainability within 12-18 months of launch.
Product & Curriculum Development
- Oversee the design of industry-relevant training programs in BIM, AI in Design, Sustainability, and other emerging areas.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, universities, and global AEC leaders to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Drive innovation in hybrid learning models (physical + digital).
Market Expansion & Industry Collaboration
- Position the cell as a premier destination for upskilling architects, engineers, and construction managers.
- Establish partnerships with key industry players to drive corporate-sponsored training initiatives.
- Expand outreach to mid-to-senior level professionals seeking advanced certifications.
Leadership & Operations
- Build and lead a high-performance team across content development, marketing, sales, and operations.
- Drive operational efficiencies to ensure an exceptional learner experience.
- Align the cell's vision with long-term talent and business growth strategies.
Thought Leadership & Branding
- Represent the cell at industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
- Present the company and business plan to potential investors.
Key Attributes & Qualifications (Must-Have):
- 5-10+ years of experience in EdTech or professional skilling businesses.
- Strong understanding of the learning business.
- Proven track record in P&L management and scaling new ventures.
- Experience in B2B corporate sales, partnerships, and stakeholder management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to execute and build from scratch.
