Senior Accounts Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sub contractors payments, labour wages, transportation, rent and hire charges among others.
• Should be able to manage multiple construction project accounts independently
• Should assist the accountants to prepare weekly project MIS showing budget and actual variance, project's current status and progress and cost to be incurred.
• Should review all invoices, bills and abstracts sent by the project team, before accounting and identify unauthorised expenses, revenue leakage and excess spending.
• Co-ordinate with the project team to understand the nature of transaction for which expenses are incurred, assess the accuracy and authenticity of transactions.
• Should have knowledge of Procure-to-pay process and review three way mapping of purchases.
• Ensure the expenses incurred are within the budgeted BOQ.
• Identify duplication of Invoices and fraudulent transactions.
• Collaborate & co-ordinate with internal departments independently to provide financial support and analysis
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, Income tax act, Goods and Service tax act and company policies
• Manage the accounts team, guide and mentor them in daily accounting process.
• Focus on automation and process improvements. Should be Ambitious and Goal oriented person.

Qualification & Exp:

• CA Inter or ICWA Inter/Final, MBA, M.Com.
• 10+ years from Construction industry
• Should have strong knowledge of Tally Prime
• Should be strong in MS Office & preparing weekly MIS reports
• Should have handled project budgeting & forecasting independently
• Should have done transaction scrutiny to identify it's authenticity.
