POSITION DETAILS:
Job Title: BIM Coordinator
Location: Gurugram
Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes within a construction or architectural project. This role involves coordinating and managing the BIM workflow, collaborating with diverse project stakeholders, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of digital models.
Collaboration Facilitation: Collaborate with design and construction teams to address clashes and discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information in BIM models.
Clash Detection and Resolution: Conduct clash detection analyses to identify and resolve conflicts within the BIM model, minimizing issues during construction.
Model Maintenance: Create, manage, and update 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and regularly update and maintain BIM models to reflect design changes, approvals, and as-built conditions.
Documentation Management: Oversee the creation and management of BIM documentation, including model element lists, clash reports, and project-specific BIM execution plans.
Training and Support: Provide technical support and guidance to project team members on BIM-related matters.
Quality Assurance and Control: Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications. Address and resolve issues related to model accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand BIM requirements, address concerns, and ensure the successful delivery of BIM-related services.
BIM Project Management: Take charge of coordination in BIM projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Create and uphold project schedules, guaranteeing that BIM activities are in sync with overall project goals. Monitor and track the progress of BIM projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines. Periodic maintenance and sanitation of the folder structure
