We are already providing Solar EPC services for large solar PV projects developed by private players and roof-top PV solutions for Industrial and Commercial consumers. JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Quality - Civil to join our team for a large-scale solar project. The ideal candidate will oversee and ensure the quality of civil construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, adhering to industry standards and specifications.

Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures specific to civil construction activities within the solar project.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Monitor construction processes and identify opportunities for improvement in quality control measures.

Quality Control:

• Establish and enforce quality control protocols for civil works, including concrete pouring, foundation construction, structural integrity, and landscaping.
• Review and approve material submittals and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Conduct tests and inspections of materials and workmanship to validate compliance with quality standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on quality performance and non-conformance issues.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to project management and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze root causes of quality issues and collaborate with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Facilitate lessons learned sessions and contribute to the development of best practices for civil construction quality management.

Team Leadership and Training:

• Provide guidance and support to quality control inspectors and construction teams.
• Conduct training sessions on quality standards, processes, and procedures for project staff and contractors.

Safety and Compliance:

• Collaborate with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) team to ensure construction activities comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Qualification:

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master s degree preferred.
• 8 years of experience in quality management for civil construction projects, preferably within the renewable energy sector or solar projects.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials testing.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality assurance/control programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
