Job Description

HR Operations & Payroll Internship - Banasawadi Bengaluru


Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Support:
    • Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for employees.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, leaves, and salary adjustments.
    • Help maintain and update employee payroll records and databases.
    • Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • HR Operations:
    • Assist with the onboarding process, including documentation, orientation, and background verification.
    • Maintain employee records and HR databases to ensure accurate information.
    • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist with employee exit formalities, including clearance and final settlements.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of reports related to payroll, attendance, and compliance.
    • Support the team in statutory compliance with labor laws and taxation.
    • Help with filing and organizing documents for audits and compliance checks.
  • Employee Engagement & Communication:
    • Assist with internal communication on HR-related updates.
    • Support in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HR functions, labor laws, and payroll processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for data management.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Exposure to HR systems, databases, and compliance processes.
  • Practical knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employee relations.
