Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Architecture Design Design and develop enterprise-level Java solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. Architect and implement OMS solutions, leveraging platforms such as IBM Sterling, Manhattan OMS, or Oracle OMS. Define and document high-level architecture blueprints and detailed technical designs. 2. Technology Leadership Evaluate and recommend modern technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance solution delivery. Act as the technical leader and mentor for development teams, fostering best practices and standards. 3. OMS Expertise Drive the end-to-end design and implementation of OMS functionalities, including order capture, fulfillment, and orchestration. Optimize OMS configurations and performance to support complex workflows. Ensure seamless integration of OMS with systems such as ERP, CRM, and WMS. 4. Development Integration Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop custom workflows and features tailored to business requirements. Lead the development and integration of APIs, microservices, and middleware to support OMS functionalities. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with business stakeholders, project managers, and analysts to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Present architectural recommendations and progress updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 6. Quality Assurance Oversee code reviews, ensure adherence to development standards, and maintain solution integrity. Implement automated testing and monitoring strategies to ensure system reliability. 7. Documentation Support Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and deployment guides. Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations. Required Technical Skills: Core Java Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, with deep knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security). Expertise in ORM tools such as Hibernate or JPA. OMS-Specific Knowledge: Extensive experience with OMS platforms like IBM Sterling OMS, Manhattan OMS, or Oracle Order Management Cloud. Deep understanding of OMS processes such as order lifecycle, inventory management, and fulfillment workflows. Cloud Microservices: Strong experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Integration APIs: Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and middleware integration. Hands-on experience with integration tools like Apache Camel, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi. Database Messaging Systems: Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ. DevOps CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle. Performance Optimization: Strong skills in performance tuning, load balancing, and caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Java, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in retail, e-commerce, or logistics domains. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
