Job Description
What you will do: The Digital Accessibility Specialist supports project teams to deliver compliant and high-quality digital experiences. Work in collaboration with passionate colleagues who are experts in their field Participate in design meetings to ensure an accessibility perspective is shared and understood Write accessibility requirements and acceptance criteria based on design mockups and UX discussions Review and approve accessibility compliance on wireframes and mockups Outline accessibility considerations in design mockups through detailed accessibility annotations for developers Test and evaluate the accessibility of web components and pages coded by our development teams Perform accessibility assessments on websites or mobile apps for our clients to comply with accessibility laws and regulations Create accessibility documentation on accessibility conformity Manage and present your work to our teams and clients like a pro! What you should have: You have between 3 and 5 years of full-time experience in digital accessibility You have experience or training in front-end web development and user experience (UX/UI) You have at least 2 years of experience in conducting accessibility evaluations of websites You have a deep understanding of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and ARIA You love code as much as design! You are proficient in the Web standards (W3C), HTML semantics and UX principles You are familiar with accessibility regulations and their requirements and how to apply them You describe yourself as proactive, detail and quality oriented Assets Experience working in Agile teams and the software development lifecycle Experience with the Atlassian suite (Confluence) and Azure DevOps You are IAAP (International Association of Accessibility Professionals) or any other relevant certification You are familiar with the eCommerce field
