Data Entry Operator

Position Overview:
The Data Entry Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely recording of production data. This role involves inputting, verifying, and maintaining production-related information, facilitating smooth workflow and effective reporting across the production department.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Maintenance:
Accurately input daily production data, including raw material usage, production output, and quality checks, into the system.
Update inventory levels and stock movement based on production records.

Reporting and Documentation:
Generate and share daily, weekly, and monthly production reports with department heads.
Maintain a systematic record of production schedules, employee attendance, and machine logs.

Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with the production supervisor to record real-time production updates.
Coordinate with the quality control team to input inspection results into the database.

Quality Assurance:
Verify the accuracy of data entered, identifying and correcting errors as necessary.
Ensure adherence to company standards for data confidentiality and security.

System Management:
Operate ERP or production management software used by the company.
Assist in troubleshooting minor system issues and escalate complex problems to the IT team.

Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma/degree in Computer Applications is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data entry tools.
Familiarity with ERP software or similar systems is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Basic understanding of manufacturing or production workflows is preferred.

Work Environment:
Based at Royal Chains gold chain manufacturing unit.
May require occasional overtime during peak production cycles.
