Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design test plans, write test cases, review functional requirement documentation, prepare testing strategies.
Perform manual testing for web applications, RESTful Web Services, and cloud-based platforms.
Understand and represent customer needs in sprint planning phases
Validate, test, and document software product results, ensuring compliance with requirements and expected outcomes.
Create and execute HTTP requests using tools such as Postman or Poster for API testing.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to establish test methodologies, strategies, and release criteria.
Track and report testing progress and metrics, ensuring timely resolution of identified issues.
Contribute to the creation of robust QA environments, including configuring basic setups in cloud platforms like AWS.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing more efficient testing workflows.
Operate in an Agile, test-driven development environment to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Drive a particular project independently for testing
Work closely with development team to ensure proper test coverage is done.
Participate in release management and post deployment testing

Requirements

A bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
Skilled in creating and validating HTTP requests using tools such as Postman.
Experience wih APIs to determine the distribution between backend and frontend issues
Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and SaaS-based environments.
Understanding of Agile workflows and test-driven development practices.
Experience with test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
Experience with project management tool preferably JIRA
Experience with programming preferably python
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
Experience with LambdaTest will be an added advantage.
