Job Description: Network and Security Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Network and Security Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in implementing and managing firewalls and network security solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in deploying Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Sophos firewalls and possess certifications in relevant technologies, which will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement firewall solutions, including Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Sophos.
• Monitor and maintain network security to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
• Conduct periodic security assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Sophos.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Experience with other security products such as F5, Radware, Cisco, and TrendMicro is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Sophos Certified Engineer) are an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
