Network Security Engineer - Cisco (5-12 yrs)

Job Description :

- Need network security guy with very strong in IPS and experience on IPS tools from Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet

- Expertise in "Implement, configure, fine tune, patching, configure signature , troubleshooting and maintain IPS systems"

Intrusion Prevention System Management :

- Implement, configure, and maintain IPS systems (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

- Monitor real-time IPS alerts and respond to security incidents.

- Conduct proactive analysis and troubleshooting to identify potential vulnerabilities.

- Configure signatures and policies to detect and block known and unknown threats in the network.

- Perform regular updates and patching of IPS systems to stay current with threat intelligence.

Security Monitoring & Incident Response :

- Analyze security events, logs, and alerts to detect intrusions and malicious activities.

- Provide incident response support by identifying, investigating, and mitigating potential security incidents.

- Escalate complex incidents to higher-level security teams or management as needed.

Network Security Policy Development :

- Develop, implement, and update network security policies and procedures.

- Hands-on experience with IPS tools and platforms (e.g., Snort, Suricata, Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, etc.).
