As Lead, PR, the incumbent would own the PR channel and work towards building our corporate reputation while delivering brand and product communication. Reporting into the Company s CEO, the role involves seamlessly shifting from managing PR activations to engaging media and influencers, to working with external PR agencies and deliver PR plans that support our business objectives. You will also ensure that our PR efforts are amplified with online and offline activations, managing social channels and events. The incumbent would work closely with internal stakeholders and ensure our external communication meets our business goals and is coordinated with other activities.
What you ll do:
Manage the marketing and communications activity across the practice
Develop and implement an annual PR strategy for individual projects
Develop and execute industry marketing programs for vertical industries, alliance partners, and trade organizations.
Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and develop a supporting communication strategy
Act as the key media contact for RoundGlass and leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts
Prepare press briefings for the global leadership team and work closely to develop individual thought leadership programs
Develop "brand stories" to delight and inform external and internal audiences and identify, pitch, and land speaking opportunities for the global leadership team
Advise on and execute global internal communications initiatives and guidance to internal teams, share best practices across locations
Monitor, analyse and report on PR and communication results
Skills & Qualifications:
Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor s or master s degree either in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, International Relations, Public Relations, or Communications.
Should have over 15 + years of experience working in a leading PR position.
Preferred experience in both B2C internet companies and traditional brand-driven industries.
Strong understanding of how to shape stories that will resonate and result in coverage with various audiences
Working knowledge of digital marketing and the interplay between different brand channels.
The candidate should also have a proven and successful role in a staff management position, preferably the management of a PR team in at least 5 years of his/her total experience.
Additionally, a lead PR needs to have had a successful track record in garnering positive media coverage for a business or product in a complex business setting/market.
Familiarity with tech and start-up environment preferred
