Rosemallow Technologies - Network Engineer - Azure Cloud (8-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Network Engineer to join our team in Coimbatore.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud networking solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

This is a key role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage Azure networking infrastructure, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, Azure Firewall, and Network Security Groups.

- Configure and manage hybrid cloud network solutions, integrating on-premises networks with Azure.

- Ensure the security and availability of network infrastructure by implementing appropriate security measures (e.g, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption).

- Optimize network performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

- Automate network infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate network solutions with applications and services.

- Monitor and analyze network performance using tools like Azure Monitor and Network Performance Monitor.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cloud networking technologies and best practices.

- Mentor and guide junior network engineers.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in network administration.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure networking services.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in designing and managing Azure networking solutions (VNets, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, Azure Firewall).

- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, BGP).

- Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates for network automation.

- Experience with network security best practices and implementation.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Network Performance Monitor).

Preferred Skills :

- Azure certifications (e.g, AZ-700 : Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions).

- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

- Experience with containerized and microservices environments (Kubernetes, Docker).

- Experience with load balancing, DNS services, and global traffic management solutions.

- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM frameworks
