Bijnis - Category Planner - Apparel (7-10 yrs)

Bijnis, a B2B technology platform that connects manufacturers and retailers in the fashion segment, offering other capabilities too, including third-party payments and logistics solutions. We are revolutionising the way factories execute production & source retailers.

Bijnis a on a mission to solve for the large base of unorganised factories and retailers, having the strongest impact on the B2B Supply chain.

We are looking for a seasoned professional:

1) A strategy thinker with the basics of manufacturing in ecommerce industry who understands the demand patterns with seasonal planning at sub categories level, deciding price range and region wise categories and on Dark Stores etc.

2) Experience of 7-10 years with comprehensive experience in category management.

3) Proven track record, including a minimum of five years specifically in the non-branded segment/private labels, with expertise in retailers like Dmart, Vmart, Vishal, etc.

4) Must have had hands on experience in various data mining/data analysis methods, data tools, building and implementation models, using/creating/executing algorithms and their respective simulations with an eye to detail. One should be able to project data with analytics along with business knowledge.

5) Must ensure that category is well planned in advance backed by data, i.e. OOS, ODR etc.

Skills and Knowledge:

1) Proficient in the technical intricacies of materials and product manufacturing.

2) Practical experience in hands-on sourcing from local unorganized manufacturers.

3) In-depth knowledge of the demand patterns of Indian retailers, particularly Mom & Pop stores.
