Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer with a strong background in Payer Claims and Interplan Claims ITS to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions in the Healthcare Payer Claims domain, using zOS technologies. As an expert in Interplan Claims, you will analyze business needs, contribute to solution design, and help optimize application performance in the healthcare payer ecosystem.

You will be part of a team that provides strategic support for complex claims processing systems, ensuring quality delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and contribute to system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Payer Claims & Interplan ITS : Utilize in-depth knowledge of Payer Claims and Interplan Claims ITS to lead the analysis and review of claims-related tickets, identifying issues and providing strategic solutions.

- Business Requirement Analysis : Collaborate with business stakeholders to review their needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements. Provide expert advice and feedback on technical aspects of requirements.

- Solution Design & Implementation : Design, develop, and implement solutions based on business requirements, ensuring that the developed system meets or exceeds expectations. Work closely with architects and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

- Subject Matter Expert (SME) : Serve as a subject matter expert for Interplan ITS in the healthcare payer domain. Guide and mentor junior developers and troubleshoot complex issues to deliver quick resolutions.

- Collaboration : Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, analysts, and other developers, to achieve project goals.

- Code Review & Optimization : Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, ensuring the scalability, efficiency, and quality of the developed solution.

- Incident Management : Analyze and troubleshoot incidents, and ensure swift issue resolution in the claims processing environment.

Mandatory Skills :

- Payer Claims Expertise : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Payer Claims processing, particularly in the Interplan Claims ITS domain.

- Business Requirement Analysis : 5+ years of experience in understanding business needs, analyzing them, and providing solutions or improvements.

- Interplan ITS Healthcare Payer Claims : Expertise in Interplan ITS for healthcare payer claims, including ticket review, analysis, and solution provision.

- zOS Development Skills : Proficiency in zOS technologies, specifically for healthcare applications in a mainframe environment.

- Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.

Secondary Skills :

- COBOL : Proficiency in COBOL for application development in zOS environments, particularly in healthcare payer claims systems.

- Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in healthcare claims systems.

Desired Qualifications :

- Experience : 7-8 years of relevant experience in Payer Claims, specifically in Interplan Claims ITS.

- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
