Job Title : Performance Test Lead
Required Experience : 6+ Years
Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Performance Test Lead to join our dynamic team. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented performance engineers, defining and implementing robust performance testing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality and high-performing applications.
Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership & Mentorship :
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of performance engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team growth.
- Performance Test Strategy & Planning:-
- Define and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies aligned with business and technical objectives.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders (e.g., product managers, development teams, architects) to understand system requirements and identify potential performance risks.
- Develop and maintain detailed performance test plans, including objectives, scope, approach, and resource allocation.
- Test Design & Execution:-
- Oversee the design and execution of various performance tests, including load tests, stress tests, endurance tests, and more.
- Analyze test results meticulously, identify performance bottlenecks and root causes of performance issues.
- Generate comprehensive performance reports with clear and concise findings and actionable recommendations.
- Performance Tuning & Optimization:-
- Collaborate with development teams to implement performance improvements and optimizations.
- Conduct performance tuning activities, such as database tuning, code optimization, and infrastructure optimization.
- Tooling & Automation:-
- Establish and maintain industry-best practices and standards for performance testing.
- Integrate performance tests seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous performance monitoring and regression testing.
- Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate performance testing tools and technologies.
- Stakeholder Management:-
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on performance testing progress, issues, and risks.
- Present performance test results and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Technical Expertise :
- Deep understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong experience with industry-leading performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, Groovy).
- Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., APM, JVM monitoring, log analysis).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a significant plus.
Soft Skills :
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
