Enterprise Application Operation Specialist

Your tasks.
Application Deployment o Collaborate with development and IT teams to deploy new applications and updates.
o Ensure proper configuration and integration of applications with existing systems.
o Ensure that the deployment process is well-documented and follows best practices.
Monitoring and Maintenance o Implement monitoring tools to track application performance, system resource utilization and potential issues o Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches and backups to ensure system integrity.
Troubleshooting o Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests related to application issues o Investigate and diagnose application problems, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams when necessary o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Performance Optimization o Analyze application performance metrics and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
o Identify bottlenecks and work towards improving overall system performance.
Documentation o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaboration o Work closely with development teams, IT support, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operation and integration of applications.
o Participate in cross-functional teams to address issues and implement improvements.
Security o Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard applications and data.
o Stay informed about security best practices and contribute to the development of a secure application environment.
Backup and Recovery o Implement and test backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability in case of failures.
Compliance o Ensure that applications comply with relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Your Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Job Experience 5-8 years in related fields.
Proven experience in application operations, system administration, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and deployment processes.
Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools.
Knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques.
Good knowledge of ITIL framework for IT Service Management.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux platforms is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Structured team player with good analytical and conceptual skills and a high level of personal responsibility.
Very good written and spoken English skills.
