Job Description Summary:

Application Developers on the Global Business Applications team are responsible for developing new features and functionality, and enhancing application capabilities on Rocket s critical back office systems and platforms. The Senior Application Developer is responsible for the overall design and development within a functional area, domain, or platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall technical design and development within a functional area or domain within the supported application or platform.
• Lead the overall development and implementation for system enhancements, new features, and larger projects / initiatives.
• Continuously make recommendations and put forth ideas to enhance business applications and platforms.
• Well versed in the software development lifecycle and proactively identifies opportunities to enhance the development process

Required Qualifications:

• 6-9 years of software engineering / application development experience.
• Experience as a developer or technical lead supporting a major systems implementation or initiative.
• Experience facilitating technical workshops and code reviews.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Able to communicate effectively to a broad set of stakeholders.
