Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Application Developer with a strong background in Kotlin, jetpack compose, Coroutines, Android SDK and Unit testing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our Android applications, focusing on delivering high-quality and efficient solutions. In addition to expertise in android technologies, having an experience in building Android SDKs and possessing knowledge of MapLibre GL Native is a definite plus.

Responsibilities :

- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

- A deep understanding of Android Application Development with Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Debugger.

- Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills.

- Experience of working in agile methodology.

- Lead the implementation of new features and improvements, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.

- Contribute to the architecture and design decisions to meet business requirements.

- Build and maintain Android SDKs to provide seamless integration with our platform.

- Work closely with product managers and UI/UX designers to implement user interfaces that meet design specifications.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to resolve issues and enhance application performance.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Android development.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of professional experience in Android Application development.

- Working knowledge of Mobile App development, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

- Should be strong in Kotlin fundamentals and Coroutines.

- Should have programming practices like clean code and SOLID principles.

- Familiar with Android Architectures, Jetpack libraries, UI/UX Design, MVVM, Dagger, RESTful APIs and Firebase.

- Hands-on experience in mobile security (device lock, encrypted db, datastore etc).

- Should have knowledge of Unit testing for Kotlin.

- Knowledge of MapLibre GL Native is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Familiarity with Junit for unit testing.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
