Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies, including Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran.

- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the Snowflake data warehouse.

- Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.

- Implement data quality checks and monitoring.

- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Design and implement data models that are efficient, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.

- Create data marts and data cubes for specific analytical purposes.

- Enforce data governance policies and standards. Ensure data security and privacy.

- Document data pipelines, data models, and processes.

- Troubleshoot data quality issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Identify opportunities for data optimization and automation.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.

- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Expertise in Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran.

- Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines.

- Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance.

- Experience with data modeling techniques, such as dimensional modeling and data vault.

- Understanding of data governance principles and data security best practices.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

- Experience with machine learning and AI concepts.

- Certification in relevant technologies (Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran).
