We are seeking a Junior Site Engineer with one to three years of work experience for a full-time position
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities and ensuring that all phases of the project are completed on time and within budget
The job location will be in Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, or Idukki. Qualifications And Skills
Proven work experience as a Site Engineer or similar role for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. Proficiency in construction management to oversee project execution and ensure compliance with design specifications. Strong knowledge of quality control processes to ensure standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Experience in project planning to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation effectively. Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Excellent problem-solving skills to handle on-site issues and unforeseen challenges effectively. Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members. Effective team management skills to lead a team and coordinate tasks to ensure timely project delivery. Site Supervision (Mandatory skill). Roles And Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities to ensure they are executed as per the project plan and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment and address any discrepancies on site. Conduct routine inspections to ensure project compliance with safety and quality standards. Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress and site conditions timely. Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Resolve any site-related issues or conflicts promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including blueprints, permits, and other essential records. Oversee site safety measures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
