Processing PR from RFQ to PO stage. Reviewing PR regarding all technical information, floating RFQ based on approved makes/quality, receiving quotations, and preparing comparison statement, Negotiation with vendors/agencies on pricing, pay terms, other commercial terms, and conditions, Seeking approval and processing PO.

• Handling Entire Logistics of the organization like Site-to-Site Transfers and from vendor premises to our sites. Monitoring the entire logistics on daily basis for on time delivery and collecting bills regularly, releasing work orders and ensuring timely payments.
• Signing Rate Contracts with the vendors for all machinery spares consumed on regular basis at project sites to meet the site delivery schedules and turnover discounts.
• Post Procurement Activities like following up with the vendor for expediting the Purchase Orders (regularly telephonically), getting the materials inspected by constantly coordinating with the vendors, getting the material and documents related to them cleared by the inspecting agency, and getting the material dispatched.
• Detailed technical evaluation is done for indented items to meet projects requirement at the site. Accordingly, detailed inquiries will be floated to approved vendors.
• After clearing technical evaluation, commercial evaluation is done based on the price bids submitted by vendors/suppliers of Inland & abroad. Negotiation is carried out with the technically qualified vendor in the presence of the purchase committee for finalization.
• Preparation of Purchase Committee Recommendations for taking management approval through ERP and releasing of Purchase Orders with complete techno-commercial details on the proposed vendor.
• Coordinating with the Inspection Department, Projects Department, and Logistic department for ensuring in-time delivery of ordered materials in the best economical manner.
• Monitoring the expediting status of ordered items / Project Packages with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials at the project site(s).
• Preparation of Monthly Review Reports on workflow status for analyzing schedule and the same is submitted to Management.
• To provide quality materials on time reduce the purchasing cost of input, develop the vendors, and improve the buyer-seller relation.

Preferred candidate profile

Should be any graduate with minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement of Construction materials
