Hiring for a rising Small Finance Bank for a Head - Retail Liability role
Scope:
To develop products, processes and implement cohesive and integrated marketing and sales policies, plans and procedures on the Branch Banking business in order to maximize the Bank's market share, profitability and volume on its range of liability products and third-party products and services.
Strategy and Planning:
- Ensure that the division strategy and related strategic plans are developed, implemented and are aligned with the vision and mission of the Bank.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of division policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Branch Banking division so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective service to customers.
- Responsible for the creation and execution of the branch expansion strategy.
- Oversee the consolidation and recommend the Retail Liabilities division budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
- Formulate and manage implementation of the medium to long term strategy of the Retail Liabilities business (products and customer management), in alignment with the overall strategic objectives and direction of the Bank.
Functional:
- Evaluate the needs of the retail liability segment in order to capitalize on market opportunities and adjust marketing strategies to reflect changing conditions.
- Develop, recommend and implement on approval marketing strategies and plans consistent with established goals in each product line and service. Constantly endeavour to improve the Bank's competitive position by review of the plans and policies.
- Develop annual operational sales plans in conjunction with Regional Managers/Channel Heads based on the overall targets and budgets. Prioritize the overall efforts by service and allocation of resources.
- Continually monitor the market to determine the market size and market penetration of the Bank's liability products and third party products and services. Evaluate the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
- Direct the development of new liability and third party products and services in line with business plans of the Bank.
- Direct, develop and implement in conjunction with Corporate Communication and marketing Department, advertising and sales promotion plans and evaluate the effect of such campaigns. Decide strategies to reach potential customers based on the evaluation.
- Analyze competitor services and prices and synthesize information to develop cost analysis and recommendations for the Bank's products.
