QA Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Enhance test automation strategies and recommend improvements to testing processes.
• Work with DevOps teams to incorporate automated testing into build and deployment pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with best QA practices and industry standards.
• Conduct exploratory and manual testing when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in QA automation testing.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or another relevant language.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of security testing methodologies.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.
