Job Title : API Management Architect

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced API Management Architect to join our esteemed client in Pune (PAN India). You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable API solutions, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of data between applications.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement API architectures using industry best practices and API First principles.

- Lead the definition and implementation of API strategies.

- Configure and manage API Gateways (experience with specific platforms a plus).

- Define and enforce API security policies and access controls.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless API integration.

- Monitor and maintain API performance and troubleshoot any issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in API technologies and best practices.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).

Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in API design, development, and management.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of API Management concepts and frameworks.

- Expertise in API security best practices (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect).

- Familiarity with leading API Management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management) (preferred).

- Experience with API Gateway technologies

- Excellent knowledge of RESTful APIs and design principles.
