Quantitative Developer - Financial Services (Focus on Quant Trading)

Job Description :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Developer to join our quantitative trading team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:

- Software Infrastructure Development: Design, develop, and maintain software infrastructure required for quantitative trading strategies, including Git repositories, python libraries & database management systems.

- Algorithm Deployment: Create and manage frameworks for the deployment of algorithms and trading signals into a production environment, ensuring reliability and scalability.

- Trade Execution Automation: Develop and implement an in-house engine for full automation and control of the trade-execution process, optimizing for speed and accuracy.

- Data Management: Design, develop, and maintain databases to efficiently store and retrieve large volumes of financial data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize trading systems for performance, including reducing execution times and improving algorithmic efficiency.

- Documentation: Maintain and update comprehensive documentation for all software development processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for the team.

- Security and Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect trading systems and data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and C++.

- Experience with database design for trading use-cases; knowledge of distributed computing frameworks.

- Familiarity with cloud-based computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Experience with trading platforms, financial APIs, and market data feeds.

- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, experience in CI/CD pipelines.

- Other Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
