Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trader to join our trading team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative finance, excellent programming skills, and a proven track record of developing and implementing trading strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Design, develop, and implement quantitative trading strategies across various asset classes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and trading signals.
- Model Development: Create and refine mathematical models for predicting market movements and optimizing trading strategies.
- Algorithm Design: Build and optimize algorithms for automated trading systems.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage risk exposure of trading strategies, ensuring compliance with risk management guidelines.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of trading strategies, making adjustments as necessary to improve returns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other quants, developers, and traders to integrate strategies and systems.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, economic news, and technological advancements to inform trading decisions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance. Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in quantitative trading or finance, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, R, or MATLAB. Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex models.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in developing and implementing trading strategies.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with trading platforms and tools.
- Knowledge of high-frequency trading and algorithmic trading systems.
- Familiarity with market microstructure and trading infrastructure.
