We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru.
Position Overview :
As an Azure DevSecOps Engineer at RiDiK, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and automated development pipelines within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems, leveraging your expertise in Azure infrastructure management, automation, reliability engineering, and security best practices. This role demands a strong understanding of cloud-native principles and a passion for building scalable and resilient systems.
Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Networking.
- Implement Nginx Ingress solutions.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or other scripting languages (Kotlin) for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform and OpenTofu for automated and consistent deployments.
- Establish and implement best practices for reliability, including Service Level Objectives (SLOs), error budgets, and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing reliability bottlenecks.
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
- Participate in incident response and resolution, working closely with development and operations teams.
- Implement effective monitoring and alerting to detect and respond to incidents proactively.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security best practices for Azure resources.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to reliability and security.
- Implement DevSecOps best practices into the CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and QA, to enhance system reliability.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders about system status, incidents, and improvements.
- Work with development teams to ensure secure coding practices.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerization and orchestration.
- Implement and manage containerized applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Utilize and manage Azure serverless technologies.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Education: Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in Azure DevSecOps engineering. -
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Networking, and related services.
- Experience with Nginx Ingress.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Kotlin) for automation.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (Terraform, OpenTofu).
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and logging tools and practices.
- Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Experience with cloud security tools and practices.
- Experience working with automotive industry clients.
