Position Overview :

As an SAP ABAP/ABAP on HANA Consultant at RiDiK, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP on HANA. You will leverage your expertise in enhancement techniques, interfacing, OOPS methodologies, and OData services to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' business requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP ABAP development principles and best practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

ABAP Development :

- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.

- Utilize enhancement techniques (BADI, User-exits, Customer-exits, BTE, and new enhancement framework) to customize SAP functionalities.

- Implement interfacing techniques (File-based, ALE IDocs, Web service consumption, ICF services) for seamless data exchange.

- Apply OOPS methodology for all ABAP developments, adhering to MVC programming paradigms.

- Utilize new Open SQL syntax available with ABAP 740/750 for efficient data access.

- Develop and maintain custom reports and Smartforms.

ABAP on HANA Development (Good to Have) :

- Participate in SAP ABAP on HANA implementation and support projects.

- Optimize ABAP code for HANA database performance.

OData Development :

- Develop and maintain OData services (V2 and V4) for data integration and consumption.

Workflow Development (Advantageous) :

- Develop and maintain SAP workflows to automate business processes.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for ABAP developments.

Problem Solving and Support :

- Troubleshoot and resolve ABAP-related issues.

- Provide support to end-users and other SAP consultants.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other developers.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Requirements :

Education : Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 4 to 7 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant.

- Hands-on experience with all enhancement techniques (BADI, User-exits, Customer-exits, BTE, and new enhancement framework).

- Hands-on experience with interfacing techniques (File-based, ALE IDocs, Web service consumption, ICF services).

- Hands-on experience with OOPS methodology and MVC programming paradigm.

- Knowledge and hands-on usage of new Open SQL syntax (ABAP 740/750).

- Hands-on experience with OData (V2 and V4).

- Hands-on experience with custom reports and Smartforms development.

- Experience in SAP ABAP on HANA implementation/support projects (including at least one end-to-end implementation for a global customer).

- Hands-on experience with workflow development.
