Job Title: Principal Consultant Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Total Experience: 9-11 years

Qualification: B. E/ B. Tech (Comp/ IT)

Location: Pune

We are looking a skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with 7 to 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing DevOps solutions in Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong automation expertise, extensive experience in CI/CD pipelines, and a deep understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure and security best practices. This role requires hands-on technical skills to support large-scale Azure migration, lift-and-shift projects, and enterprise cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps Strategy & Implementation:

• Design, implement, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Define and enforce DevOps best practices for infrastructure provisioning and code deployment.

Automation:

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Azure Cloud Administration & Security:

• Manage and optimize Azure cloud services, including networking, storage, compute, and identity management.
• Implement RBAC, Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and compliance policies to enhance security posture.

Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Optimization:

• Implement Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive monitoring.
• Optimize cloud performance, cost management, and resource utilization.

Kubernetes & Containerization (Preferred):

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized applications.
• Work with Docker, Helm charts, and microservices architectures.

Collaboration & Incident Management:

• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline DevOps processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and deployment-related issues.
• Support incident response and post-mortem analysis for high-availability production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud administration.

Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Services (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards, Test Plans).

Deep knowledge of Azure administration, including VMs, networking, security, and storage.

Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.

Experience with Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices.

Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics).

Strong understanding of DevSecOps, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

Ability to mentor junior engineers and drive DevOps best practices.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305) are a strong plus.

Experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Helm, and microservices.

Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and hybrid cloud setups.

Familiarity with ITIL, ServiceNow, and enterprise IT processes.
