Engineering Manager

Team Leadership: Manage a team to deliver results by dividing and balancing work between team members ensuring that results meet Enterprise Applications standards. Project Management: Run the spirit planning process for your team, identifying responsible engineers and working with team members while they scope and plan their upcoming sprint tickets. Product Management: Understand product goals and translate into engineering actions. Communication: Communicate directly with the Director of Engineering, Product Managers and Executives.

Mentorship: As a manager you mentor other team members in technical delivery, process analysis, and improvement. Autonomy: Delivers and effectively prioritizes projects assigned with clear scope. Execution: Personally deliver on urgent implementations and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications.

5+ years of combined hands-on experience with React and Node.js building web apps. 2+ years of hands on experience with TypeScript. 2+ years of experience of management experience either as a Engineering Manager or Engineering Team Lead.

Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies. Demonstrated ability to communicate concisely and effectively with non technical stakeholders. Collaborate with peers to write, review, and provide feedback on technical design proposals and participate in and contribute to code/configuration reviews..
