This is an Actuarial Pricing role that requires an enthusiastic learner who can work on the pricing models and help on various research and analysis to develop pricing assumptions with guidance. The person will closely work and support the product development work. The job requires some base knowledge of analytical tools like R and Python which can assist in general data analytical work.
Responsibilities
Pricing quotes within the agreed timelines and established quality standards
Work with different functions like BD, Underwriting and Claims on to ensure the information used for pricing is complete and accurate.
Maintaining complete and accurate pricing documentation.
Work on various data analytics projects to support different pricing assumptions.
Support research and analysis as required for product development and other actuarial work.
Drafting proposal and treaty documentation.
Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science or a related field
Minimum 0-2 years experience in various aspects of the actuarial or analytical work of an insurance/reinsurance/financial business
Cleared minimum 3-4 exams from a recognised Actuarial Institute
Skills and Abilities
Excellent oral and written Communication skills and ability to communicate complex problem to variety of stakeholders.
Sound working knowledge of MS Excel, Macros, MS Word and any actuarial/statistical software.
Working knowledge of software like Oracle, R and Python would be preferred
An ability to set and manage priorities in a changing work environment is essential.
