Job Description
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing for web applications, ensuring front-end and back-end quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects in bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and database operations.
- Perform testing to ensure backend and database processes function as expected.
- Conduct regression testing after bug fixes or feature updates.
- Assist in performance testing to ensure the scalability of web applications.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Document test results and prepare detailed test reports for stakeholders.
- Suggest improvements to the testing process and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database validation.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, or Postman).
- Basic understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter or LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying test failures and issues.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing setups will be a plus.
- Experience working in travel and transportation domain will be a plus.
- Minimum 3 years
