Job Description
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for web applications.
- Define testing objectives, scope, and criteria for success based on project requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on functional and technical specifications.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Ensure thorough testing of both front-end and back-end components, including APIs and SQL databases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues in bug-tracking systems (Azure DevOps).
- Work closely with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded in every phase of the SDLC.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and knowledge.
- Create detailed test reports, including test coverage, results, and defect trends.
- Maintain and update testing documentation, including test plans, procedures, and user guides.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of testing web applications built on .NET technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database validation.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, Apache JMeter).
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying test failures and issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Postman, or JMeter will be a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL for writing queries, validating test data, and troubleshooting database-related issues.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing setups will be a plus.
- Experience working in travel and transportation domain will be a plus.
- Minimum 5 years
