Data Recovery Engineer - Backup Tools (5-7 yrs)

Position : Azure Backup & DR Engineer

Experience : 5+ years

Location : Coimbatore (WFO)

Shift timing : US Shift - 4:30pm to 1:30am

Mode of work : C2H

Note : Initial 2 months training will be in Pune

Job Description :

- 5+ years of experience working with backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and Recovery Services Vault.

- Proficiency in designing and implementing backup strategies for virtual machines, databases, and file servers.

- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud disaster recovery solutions.

- Strong knowledge of backup retention policies, encryption, and data protection practices.

- Experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting for automation of backup and recovery processes.

- Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.

- Experience with third-party backup tools integrated with Azure, such as Veeam, Common vault, or NetApp.

- Understanding of business continuity planning and recovery strategies for mission-critical applications.

- Familiarity with Azure storage services, including Blob Storage, Disk Storage, and Azure Files.
