Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high quality software solutions in support of our products using the latest technologies available to us
- The successful candidate must have excellent analytical skills and be able to apply them effectively to complex problems; they must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as being capable of working independently
- They should have experience in delivering high quality solutions on time and within budget while meeting customer expectations
- They should also demonstrate their ability to collaborate effectively across teams in order to achieve common goals
About the Role
- Develop software applications using C# .NET framework, SQL Server, and other related technologies
- Ensure all code developed meets industry standards and best practices
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure that software development aligns with business objectives
- Create unit tests and integration tests for new features or enhancements
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed
- Participate in code reviews and design sessions
- Maintain existing systems by making updates, fixes, and improvements
- Collaborate with other developers to ensure consistency across projects
- Help mentor junior developers when necessary
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience as a software developer
- Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Platform
- Knowledge of relational database concepts including query optimization techniques and data modeling strategies
- Familiarity with agile methodology and associated tools such as JIRA
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written
- Self-starter who can work independently without constant supervision but willing to ask questions when needed
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through completion
- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
